How this works in practice
Let us walk through a concrete example. Suppose our Wirtschaftreporter Anna Roth drafts an article about rising energy prices in Sweden. She names her sources – Statistics Sweden, industry reports, expert interviews – and submits the piece to our Redaktionschef Christina Zimmermann, who reviews the headline, structure and tone. The article then goes to Helena Graf’s fact‑checking team, who verify the numbers and quotations. Only after the fact‑check passes does the piece go live with Anna Roth’s byline and a note that it was editor‑reviewed. If a mistake is later found, we publish a correction and update the article. That process applies to every story we run.
